Tammy was born in Albuquerque, NM and she is very happy she landed in Tucson as she is a Southwest kinda girl.  Mexican food is her favorite and green chili goes on just about everything she eats!

She’s been in Tucson for 34 years-moved here to marry Peter- and it worked since they have been married for 33 years!  They have two daughters (both working at SWS!) and couldn’t be happier with the direction of her life, so far!  She has served on numerous boards in Tucson but her most current (and favorite) is the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.  It’s important to her to work for (and in) her community that she loves so much.  Tucson is definitely home!

She has one motto for work “Don’t do business with friends-make friends doing business”.  She has lived by that motto so she now has lifelong friends and great clients.  Life is good!

Peter was born in Boston, grew up in a small town in Cow Hampshire (there were more cows than people in his home town!)  Showed up in Tucson in 1973 and has seen our population quadruple since. 32 years in the ceramic business, most of which time was spent as a supplier to the promotional products distributors nationwide.  This gave him the background of what we offer our customers today:  print, promo prods, apparel, direct mail, and design.

He met the love of his life in 1980, told her the day he met her that they would be married one day and spend the rest of their lives together (she was married at the time, he was engaged!)  It took five years, and now its been almost 33!

Worked for other folks for a few years after the ceramic business:  sold rv’s for a while, designed and sold pools, and was a mortgage lender.  But he just couldn’t get away from “doing his own thing”, the entrepreneurial spirit just doesn’t seem to go away.  Or maybe he has a problem with authority to which he will never admit!

Peter is active in many organizations in the valley, former President of the Vail Chamber, currently serves on the boards of The Greater Oro Valley Chamber, the 162nd Air Guardians, MAC Exec Committee, and is the Honorary Commander of the 354th Fighter Squadron, one of DM’s two A-10 squadrons and does his best to be kind, be involved, and make a difference.

audrey@swstucson.com

Audrey is a native Tucsonan twenty-something who is all about her family, friends, and fur babies. A two-time graduate of the U of A, Audrey’s career has taken an interesting path. Starting in speech-language pathology, she earned her master’s degree and moved to Oregon to work with elders with disabilities. The Oregon winter rain quickly sent Audrey and her (now) husband Austin running back home to their friends, family, and endless Arizona sunshine. Continuing in speech-language pathology, Audrey worked throughout Tucson. Getting wary of the flaws of the medical field, she soon turned to a field where she could be happy and have the power to make change and truly help people rather than be confined by “the system” – marketing! Audrey joined the family business in February 2017 and has been loving (nearly) every second of this industry and opportunity ever since. The personal connections and ability to have fun while still making a difference in our world is what it’s all about. When not working, Audrey prefers to spend her time playing with Bobbi (dog), Gus (cat), and Lily (cat) and being with her people. Other favorites include hiking, making candles, organizing, and vegging out on the couch.

Vera is a born & bred Tucsonan (with a little Texan in the middle) & crazy cat lady who’s known for her creative randomness & foul mouth.  She studied Linguistics & Gender/Women’s Studies at the UofA and obviously put both disciplines to use in the kids’ toys, cell phones, HOA, and book fairs industries.  Gotta love college degrees!  Vera is passionate about vocabulary, authenticity, and compassion, and in her free time you’ll probably find her doing CrossFit or yoga, running, growing things, cooking, bullet journaling, playing Skyrim (#fusrodah), or reading.  She’s new in the promo products/print/apparel industry, but she is already excited to use her unique background to help you think outside the box and find creative, effective ways to tell your story to your audience—she’ll put the fun in functional!

Born a Wisconsin Cheesehead and lifelong Packer fan, year-round golf coaxed Randy to the southwest finding him, his wife, and son ultimately landing in Green Valley, Arizona in 1984.  Career path went from golf to politics to sales with a bunch of work and non-work related activities mixed in.  As a member of the PGA of America, he was President of the organization’s Chapter.  While serving in the Arizona House of Representatives, Randy served in leadership as the Majority Whip.

In his spare time Randy serves on the Board of Directors of the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce, the Advisory Council of the Green Valley Sahuarita Salvation Army and the Advisory Committee of the Green Valley Hospital.  Randy is also the Treasurer of the Santa Cruz Valley Friends of NRA Committee which in 2017 was the 20th highest netting Committee in the United States raising funds for the NRA Foundation which supports the 2nd Amendment, responsible firearm ownership and the shooting sports for women and youth.

Randy and his wife Cathy have two dogs (Jake & Jack), and have son and grandson who both live in Tucson.  A little hunting, a little golf, a little shooting and walking the dogs fills in the bit of free time available.

dave@swstucson.com

Dave, a recent addition to the SWS family, or as he has become to be known as, “Banner Boy”, can’t really claim any area of the US as his native.  Born and raised in the Mid-west, he has worked in Higher Education at ASU and Harvard, managed Tucson’s direct mail Tucson Shopper and has even bartended for a stint of his life.  He shares a passion for cooking, canning, gardening and all-around projects.  Dave is excited to join this crazy and hard-working group, there is always something that he can add.  After recently moving into his new home with Boo, Ladyhawke and NJ, he has surprised himself with his mechanical and repair abilities…. righty tighty, lefty loosey…his alter ego Jason on the other hand, that’s a whole new story…

Mik Coldron - Graphic Designer, Southwest Solutions

Mik Coldron

Graphic Designer

Hey all, Mik Coldron here…Born in the east coast of England, in the City of Lincoln, Lincolnshire. Famous for the cathedral, the Red Arrows RAF Aerobatic Team, The Dam Busters, the world's first military tank makers and home of the filming for Tom Hanks – Da Vinci Code. After graduating Lincoln College of Art and Design, I started work at Lincolnshire County Council Highway and planning Department as a cartographer (Map Drawer) way before computers (Yes I can draw – but only type with one finger) Greatest achievement: Designing Spotta the Otter for the Green Bus Project in the Road and Safety Department, Finally after 8 years, persuading the County Council to use a different font other than Souvenir Bold and start to introduce cartoons to plain information booklets.

Emigrated to the State in 1996, and finally after a few restaurant jobs, got back into graphics. Freelanced for Disney, designing tees for Target and Walmart, designed computer games, educational and shoot ‘em up (Did background art for the video game Postal) Worked at the Tucson Shopper, Bombardier (Learjet) designing private business jets, as well as the promotional products lines.

Art has always been in my blood, so here I sit at Southwest Solutions, designing logos, banners, brochures and everything else that comes through the door. Some of you know me personally, others know my art – just look around Tucson, I can be seen on most streets (well my art, anyway)

Austin Driscoll - Office Manager, Southwest Solutions

Austin Driscoll

Office Manager

Austin was born in Tucson and, even though he lived in Oregon for a year, he has no real interest in ever going anywhere else. Austin can be a grumpy old man at times, but lovely at others. When he’s not feeling grumpy about the world he enjoys escaping reality by playing way too many video games and constantly telling his wife (Audrey) all about them. She may or may not love that part about him. Austin is also an avid sports fan and can tell you what’s going to happen before it happens, no matter the sport. Sports are best watched on mute because he’s usually better than the commentators. This led him to become a huge fan of sports radio, and it’s a dream of his to be an ESPN Radio personality someday. Don’t tell his boss. Austin was an IT guy for most of his professional career but always wanted to do something he loved. When he was presented with the opportunity to work with his family and build something really special together, it was a no brainer and now he’s right where he always wanted to be.

Anna O'Grady - Production Manager, Southwest Solutions

Anna O'Grady

Production and warehouse Manager

Anna was born and raised in Tucson and grew up with lots of wonderful family ghost stories, so she’s an avid lover of most things horror as well as gummy bears. She attended Pima Community College and graduated with her Associate’s degree in Graphic Design. As life sometimes goes, she was sidetracked by the retail industry but now feels she’s getting back to what she would really love to do. Although she may miss her two dogs (Sierra and C.B.) and two cats (Whisky and Tango) while at work, Anna is extremely happy to be here with the Southwest Solutions Family and is always up for learning something new.

Jeff Snip - Southwest Solutions

Jeff Saunders

Account Manager

Jeff was born in Hot ‘lanta in ‘72 and moved to Montgomery when he was just a year old where soon he became a big fan of the Crimson Tide, he moved to Arizona in 9th grade, graduated from H.S. in Sierra Vista.  He attended a few different colleges including the University of Arizona before graduating with his Elementary Education Degree.  He has lived in Tucson for the past 21 years, he has worked for Miraval, Fleming’s, First Magnus, and many others.  His greatest achievement in his business career has been to open four-award winning mattress sleep stores in Tucson with very little start-up money and make them one of Tucson’s favorite locally-owned businesses.  He joined SW Solutions in August of ‘18. He has one amazingly self-sufficient, smart and beautiful daughter, who now attends ASWHO. He lives with the love of his life, Melissa on the Northwest side where they like to bike on the Loop, barbeque, and hang out by the pool together.  He has served on the Greater Oro Valley Chamber Board and the Steering Committee for Local First Arizona.  Jeff is very involved in many networking organizations and loves bringing his famous door prizes.  When he finds down time he loves to mountain bike, golf, dinner and movie and hang out with friends.
